Deformation surveys

Deformation Surveys are often required when a structures integrity is compromised due to a number of reasons; for example a local construction project or purely due to the passing of time. The first sign may be cracks or subsidence appearing within a building or there may be a requirement to monitor building façades during renovation work. Spatial Dimensions are well equipped to carry out deformation surveys, by combining the latest in laser scanning technology and traditional surveying methods to accurately map the façade and report on specific areas of concern.

Results can be published as drawings of the elevations with contours, which accurately map the building face or using intensified colour banding which also depict the areas of concern. A grid of values in mm can also be reported showing the difference between the correct and actual plane.

These solutions allow clients to evaluate their projects safe in the knowledge that the data has been collected using modern equipment while never compromising on quality or sound survey methodology.

From reporting on the quality of cladding to whole structural deformities Spatial Dimensions are well positioned to deliver the tailor made requirements that occur with every project.
