Completed – 3 peaks challenge
July 4, 2014
We are all absolutely delighted that our managing director, Claire Fenwick successfully completed the 24 hour 3 Peaks Challenge last weekend with just a few minutes to spare.
Starting in the early evening on Saturday the 28th of June at 5pm Claire and her group climbed Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Scotland, arriving back down at the foot of the mountain in near darkness.
The group then traveled through the night, 263 miles,to the highest point in England, Scafell Pike and started that climb at first light on Sunday morning (around 04:30am).
The final leg was started with a 216 mile drive to North West Wales to tackle Mount Snowdon the highest point in Wales. With time ticking and up against a tight 5pm deadline, Claire made it up and down again with just 18 minutes to spare.

Of course the reason for this challenge was to give back to the community and we are also delighted that the fund-raising has been outstanding. Our original target was £2,000 and up to this afternoon we have raised £3,720 with further pledges of over £1,000 meaning we are well on course to raise over £5,000 for these worthwhile causes.
We would like to thank our friends, clients and partners who have already donated and if you haven’t yet you can of course still donate HERE
Claire summarised the challenge by saying “It was a truly breath taking adventure carried out at break neck speed.
I’d like to thank my team mates and our dedicated drivers for their outstanding support and encouragement, I couldn’t have done it without you all.
I’d especially like to thank all of our clients and partners who have sponsored, your contributions will help make a huge difference.”
